Hola chicos! Welcome to lucid eye editorial!
Thank you for visiting my website. Let me introduce myself. My name is Chris Alexander and I’m from Newcastle in the North of England. I’m a freelance translator, content writer and English teacher. Below you can discover a bit more about the services I provide.
I’m a translator working in the Spanish to English language pair and I am very passionate about what I do. I’m highly skilled, efficient and have a lucid eye for detail. Although I specialize in travel and tourism and sport, I also have experience in translating texts in the fields of history, legal, music, culture and the news. I am currently studying for a MA in Translation.
As a keen writer and storyteller I offer my services as a content writer. Most of my work is travel writing. I am currently writing a series, Diary of a Backpacker, which tells the story of my adventures travelling round the world. This and many other articles on subjects including translation, current affairs and history can be found in the Lucid Eye Blog.
I’m a qualified TEFL teacher. After completing training in Buenos Aires, I spent two years teaching business English to individuals and groups in Argentina’s beautiful capital. Classes were varied and included vocabulary and grammar, conversation practice and exam preparation. I have also taught English to children in a school in a small village in Laos.
